Friends of Socrates,
Socrates in the City doesn't happen without the generosity of friends like you. As I think you may already know, putting on events like these, with internationally recognized speakers in fabulous Manhattan venues with wine and hors d'oeuvres, is far more expensive than the amounts we charge. But we feel it is a cultural service to the city to be able to put them on at a price most people can afford. Which means that we need your help to continue to make that possible.
If the last event - or any previous events - have meant anything to you and you would like to see us be able to continue bringing these sorts of speakers to New York City, I humbly and sincerely ask you to be generous and make a tax-deductible donation to Socrates in the City today. Above this message you will find links describing various ways to offer your gift.
We are in very real need of help to continue putting on these events, so your generosity is profoundly important and appreciated.
Sincerely,
Eric Metaxas
